Progress?

We received our number today from the Ministry.  The information gives us an idea of where we are in relation to other families with dossiers in Rwanda.  We are exactly where we expected to be.  Getting any teeny tiny bit of information out of the Ministry is, at this time, encouraging to all of the families waiting.

In other news, we are still living in a hotel.  No repair work has begun on our house.  While our contractor and our insurance company work out the details involved with repairing the flood damage, we are enjoying free breakfast here every day, free dinner Mon-Thurs, and housekeeping every day.  Besides that, we have a fraction of our possessions here with us.  So, there are no closets or shelves or drawers or garages here that need organization.  Simplicity is freedom.  We may never leave :)
