Forever

This morning, we were having some adoption discussion while making breakfast.  Nicholas asked if the girl we are adopting will be here for a long time.  We said, "Forever.  She'll be your sister."  I added, "It's like Uncle Carlos.  He is dad's brother forever."  To which Nicholas replied, "Dad's adopted?"
