What an amazing thing...

As we share more with others about adoption as the way in which we will be welcoming another person into our family, we are often met with, "Wow.  What an amazing thing you are doing."  Every time, "no" bubbles in my heart and my head, makes its way to the tip of my tongue, but then never comes out of my mouth.  I have never had the courage to respond.  Mostly, I just stare back, probably with a blank look on my face.  Why?  Because I cannot take the credit for God's work.  It is God's plan.  It is God's idea.  It is God's work to change our little girl's life while he changes ours.  What an astounding thing God is doing!
