Approval!!

We learned today that we've been approved to adopt from Rwanda since April 26th.  We were shocked!  We have looked forward to hearing from the ministry for sooooooooooo long.  We feel like we should celebrate.  At the same time, we are faced with the 6-month regret letter.  So, 3 months of time have passed since our approval.  We now have 3 more months to receive a referral before our case is considered closed by the Rwandan government.  We are hopeful we'll be receiving a referral soon and looking at a picture of who our child will be! 

In the meantime, we are finishing up the paperwork for our homestudy update so that we can send it all in to USCIS for a new I-600.  We should have that finished by mid-August in plenty of time to get everything sent in by the expiration date of Oct. 17th.
