Sweet

If ever one needs a pick-me-up, s/he should hang out at the arrival area for international flights.  This morning, we went to welcome home the Cassada family, who were bringing home their two boys from Rwanda.  While we were waiting for them, we witnessed a few other adoptive families coming home, as well as families being reunited.  The new Cassada boys are as adorable in person as they are in photos.  Observing them being welcomed into their extended family and circle of friends was remarkable and gave me renewed hope in our adoption process.  It was a beautiful morning in the international arrival area at Dulles airport!
