A Christmas Prayer

Listening to the radio in the car today...heard this song for the first time and was really struck by the lyrics...thinking about the kids/people around the world....our children in Nicaragua whom we pray for and love...our child in Africa who we pray for and love already...

Light when everything seems dark

I pray that every hungry soul

Joy.  Peace.  Hope.  Light.  Food.  Warmth.  Safety.  God.

To think that for most people around the world, this is where a Christmas wish list would begin....and we fill ours with so many other things.
