Love!

We picked Josiane up from Home of Hope very early this morning and headed straight for the passport office. Her first bus ride went well. Her big eyes were pulling in every new thing before she promptly fell asleep in the front pack carrier.

After we got had our passport appointment, we had to drop amended paperwork by the court and then returned to the hotel for a quick breakfast.

Last night, we had a fantastic celebratory meal at one of the most stunning restaurants I've been to anywhere in the world. We were so happy to have fresh, tasteful green curry for dinner! We toasted to the 5 children in our group who are orphans no more and to our God, who placed these children in our families.

After lunch this afternoon, we expect to have a quiet day at the hotel with our babies. Already, we are seeing each of the children come to life. Josiane seemed so content on the middle of the bed. She rolls over, we got our first smiles from her, and she doesn't mind being on her tummy at all. She also cried a bit for us, which we enjoyed hearing for the first time. We gave her legs a lotion massage and changed a couple of diapers. She is a great, quick eater so far, if not a bit messy.

We wondered if we'd feel love immediately for her or if it would take some time. We are completely, totally in love with her!
